2018 United States Mint Set – Low-Mintage Modern Issue

The 2018 United States Mint Set features standard uncirculated business-strike coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, presented in the multi-panel Original Government Packaging (OGP). This year continues the America the Beautiful Quarters Program with ten quarters—five from each mint—honoring: Pictured Rocks (MI), Apostle Islands (WI), Voyageurs (MN), Cumberland Island (GA), and Block Island (RI). According to the official Red Book, the 2018 Mint Set had a very low mintage of just 257,424 sets, making it one of the scarcest modern Mint Sets.

The set includes uncirculated examples of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Kennedy Half Dollar, and the 2018 Native American Dollar featuring the “Jim Thorpe – Athlete and Olympian” reverse. All coins are secured in Mint-issued cellophane and arranged within the folder-style OGP, preserving sharp strikes, clear mintmarks, and bright uncirculated luster. The streamlined format reflects the Mint’s modern approach to annual Uncirculated Set production following the conclusion of the Presidential Dollar series in 2016.
